Cannonball 2000 is the fastest growing motor-lifestyle event in the UK. The 2012 event will see 45 supercars cover 2000 miles, over 5 days of adrenalin filled driving, from London to Paris via Barcelona, Monte Carlo and Milan.
On Wednesday 16th May London’s elite partied hard like rock stars at Amika in Mayfair at the exclusive launch event for Cannonball 3000. From a complimentary drinks reception, with press, celebs and competitors alike. All of whom were eager to find out who the participants involved in this year’s rally were.
Founder and organiser Gary Redman made an informal speech leaving the night’s itinerary free to be enjoyed by attendees who ravished vodka and Rockstar mixes and champagne by the bottle.
The face of the event, ITV’s Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher was in attendance with fellow stars Ricky Hatton, the former twice world champion boxer. Both will take part in the rally in September. Models and celebrity guests such as Liz Cundy could be also be found in Amika’s VIP area.
Cannonball 2000 offers a chance to be a part of a journey like no other. From the official launch party, to the grand finale in Paris, the event is a high-octane experience in the most luxurious and hedonistic of surroundings. Cannonballers will experience five days of the most amazing scenery, luxury hotels, VIP access to top nightclubs and will rub shoulders with celebrities and other like-minded people.
The spectacular five day event starts from London’s Park Lane Hilton on 5th September with a selection of the 45 supercars in grid formation outside the Park Lane Hilton Hotel, ready to set off on an epic journey which ends on 10th September 2012
Before the start guests will enjoy a pre-launch to be attended by celebrities, sponsors and VIP invited guests, with the Cannonball cars lined up on the starting grid ready for the starter’s flag.
