Whatever Happened To…….Changing Faces?
The female duo Changing Faces were very much pioneers of the slow jam in the 90’s. Members Cassandra Lucas and Charisse Rose brought together soul and sexiness in a form that made them forerunners for any slow jam compilation whether in the clubs or the bedroom. Their first two singles "Stroke You Up" and "Foolin' Around" written and produced by R. Kelly made it to the R&B Top Ten in late 1994, with “Stroke You Up” reaching number three in the pop charts. The supporting album titled ‘Changing Faces’ went straight to gold on the merit of those tracks alone. With three studio albums to date, their second album release ‘All Day And Night’ featured their biggest selling single G.H.E.T.T.O.U.T, which reached number one status in the R&B chart. Their last release unfortunately failed to make waves on the scene in 2000 titled ‘Visit Me’. We haven’t heard from them since.
