Whatever Happened To……Montell Jordan?
In 1995 Montell Jordan soared to fame with hit track ‘This Is How We Do It’! It was the RnB anthem of its time, storming both the U.S and UK charts at number one and still plagues many a dance floor to this day. Montell’s other hit tracks included ‘Something for the Honeyz' and the unforgettable ‘Lets Ride’ featuring the droning ‘Erggggh’ signature sounds of Master P. His last release ‘Get It On Tonite’ in 1999 was another track that received good reviews on the dance floor. Montell entered the music scene when RnB was at its peak dominating the charts alongside artists such as R-Kelly and Deborah Cox. In addition to his musical accolades he was also a producer and wrote material both for Christina Milian and Sisqo. He is now a born-again Christian and has since left the music business to become a church minister. All the best Montell!
