KissBigEgo: Polaroid Pastiche
KissBigEgo (I can’t get enough of the name!) is not your average event. KissBigEgo is fresh, exclusive and has shaken up the world of networking as we know it!
Launched in May, KissBigEgo is a monthly event that as founder Anthony Kilimba defines it, is creative networking set against a backdrop of good music and a fun atmosphere. Having attended their launch party in May (a chic and trendy affair), hotminute had to get in on the action so not only did we cover this event but we sponsored it too!
This night, entitled “Polaroid Pastiche” was housed once again in the elegant private members club No 5 Cavendish in the heart of central London. Other sponsors on the night were luxury menswear shirting brand Monseigneur Baron, and art photographer Nathalie Van Doren whose works were ingeniously displayed electronically on No.5’s huge screen. KBE nights draw a diverse set, from the entrepreneur to the ambitious professional and Polaroid Pastiche was no different. Industries present were as varied as finance/investment banking, fashion, media, property, film, charity and non profit which made for interesting conversations and the start of some unique business partnerships.
So there we were milling, networking and rocking to the popping tunes when flashes begin to go off all around us! Apparently the night was themed Polaroid Pastiche for a reason it wasn’t just about showcasing photographer Nathalie Van Doren’s work. Nor was it just about playing the model against the backdrop of Monsieur Baron’s fab line.
Kiss Big Ego events are indeed creative networking set against a backdrop of good music and a fun atmosphere!
All attendees were awarded paparazzi status for the night as Anthony handed out disposable cameras and let us loose on each other. It’s touches like this that really add another dimension to the KBE night. This really isn’t a conventional networking event. The blend of industry professionals, stylish venue, quirky and fun themes and exclusivity mean that it accomplishes Anthony’s vision. Kiss Big Ego events are indeed creative networking set against a backdrop of good music and a fun atmosphere!
